Brookhaven is a neighborhood north of Atlanta city limits but inside the I285 perimeter. It is just north of Lenox Square off Peachtree Rd. It was originally planned as a golf course community, with elegant homes overlooking the views and was to the west of Peachtree Rd. This is the “old” part of Brookhaven. It is a prestigious address and has very valuable properties. The area east of Peachtree has gradually also come to be called Brookhaven by the residents, the builders and the Realtors (although people to the west may disagree) and is somewhat more affordable.
