Here are examples of some of the original architecture in Reynoldstown. Like many of the intown neighborhoods there is a lot of new construction going on on the infill lots.
Generally the builders are building homes that resemble the older homes that were built when the neighborhood was originally developed.
There are a few contemporaries which are actually being built.
Reynoldstown
Reynoldstown is a neighborhood just east Downtown Atlanta. It is east Cabbagetown and is west of Moreland Ave and the Edgewood neighborhood. It goes from Moreland Ave to the railroad tracks which form the west boundary. The east west Marta line is the north boundary, and I-20 is the Southern boundary of the neighborhood. It is about 2 miles from Downtown Atlanta. There is a stop on Marta for Reynoldstown just three stops east of Five Points.
Reynoldstown has been going through a tremendous redevelopment and new construction boom just like the rest of the intown neighborhoods. It is close to Little 5 Points, East Atlanta, GA State, Emory and Downtown. Some very upscale lofts with brick construction and gated entries have been going up in the commercial land along the Marta line between Cabbagetown and Reynoldstown,
